Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery Mission Statement
We, the Roman Catholic Community of Saint Mary, acknowledge that the Catholic Cemetery is established to carry out the sacred religious function of the burial and care for the resting places of the deceased. We proclaim through our words, work and example, the sacredness of the human body, our belief in the Resurrection, and the Christian virtue of Hope. We are dedicated to the respectful care of the people of God, who even in death, remain a part of our Christian Community.
Prayer for the Deceased
Gracious God, we entrust to your beloved care all of our beloved family members and friends who have gone before us. Even as we mourn their passing we rejoice in the life they have shared with us and in the new life into which they have been born. Grant them a place in your heavenly home with all the saints you have found faithful. May their love and goodness live on in us inspiring us to holy living and selfless loving, so that one day, reunited with them and all your holy ones, we might sing your praise. Amen
